Our Mission: For our clients to achieve healthy, stronger and younger looking skin.

Mission Impossible? Not Anymore!

New Exclusive Skin Range from Dr Obagi

We are delighted to announce that we are one of only a few clinics appointed to supply our clients with the new ZO Skin Health range from Zein Obagi

We have been using the products ourselves, and the results are fantastic,  Dr Obagi uses high levels of active ingredients like retinol, vitamin C and latic acid to awaken cells so that they can produce collagen and elastin, the higher the concentration the better the result.

After 20 years in aesthetics I am still surprised by how people treat and view their skin.  I love my injectable treatments as much as the next person, but I continually explain to my clients that you must first get the canvass right, this will not only enhance injectable treatments but also give improved longevity of treatments.

To really make a difference we have to treat skin at cellular level, which means products with power.  The more skin reaction the deeper the skin repair! My thinking is take the 'bull by the horns' no pain no gain, get through this stage and you will have healthier, stronger skin.
However, we have to be reaslistic and people have busy lives and events to attend, therefore, if needed this reaction can be managed, results will be slower but still effective.

Mission Completed!

8 Reasons to Smile!!!

Thought I would share this with you ..... it made me smile!
How often do you smile in a day? Do you smile when you meet new people? When you see your friends? While you’re at work? Your face has 44 muscles that allow you to make more than 5,000 different types of expressions, and now’s the time to start using them — to smile!
Smiling is not only a way to share your happiness with others, but it is also good for your health and love life! Read on to find out why we need to smile at least ten times every single day!
1. Smiling Makes Us More Attractive
We are drawn to people who smile. Smiling keeps us from looking worn-down, stressed or tired. By simply smiling more often, you can improve your facial appearances for free!
2. Smiling Is Contagious
No only does smiling make you happy, but it can also change the moods of others around you. A smiling person brings happiness with them. Smile, and you will draw people to you.
3. Smiling Makes You Happy
Try feeling sad and smiling at the same time. It simply doesn’t work. Smiling can trick the body into helping you change your mood.
4. Smiling Releases Stress
Stress can really show up in our faces. When you are stressed, take time to put on a smile. You’ll be surprised how difficult it is to continue feeling stressed while smiling and looking happy.
5. Smiling Boosts Your Immune System
Every time you smile you are boosting your immune system. When you smile, immune function improves because you are more relaxed — helping to prevent the flu and common colds!
6. Smiling Makes You Look Younger
The muscles we use to smile lift the face, making a person appear younger. Forget the face lift, and start smiling (often) in your daily Conversations!
7. Smiling Lowers Your Blood Pressure
When you smile, there is a measurable reduction in your blood pressure. Give it a try if you have a blood pressure monitor at home. Sit for a few minutes, take a reading. Then smile for a minute and take another reading while still smiling. Do you notice a difference?
8. Smiling is a Natural Drug
Studies have shown that smiling releases endorphins, natural pain killers, and serotonin, helping to keep us sane and in a good mood!

New treatment for Acne sufferers

For those of you that have suffered with Acne or know someone that has or still does, you will be aware that
it can cause a great deal of trauma for the person concerned, which is why I am absolutely delighted to be able to offer Lustre Pure Light treatment at Deborah Forsythe Clinics.

Lustre pure light is a new light technology which has been developed by dermatologists and tested by healthcare professionals specialising in skin conditions.  It harnesses the safe, natural blue part of the visible light spectrum and uses clinically proven technology to eliminate the spot-causing bacteria, whilst also being gentle on the skin.  The device is portable, rechargeable and can be used at home alongside clinical treatments.
